My daughter and I have visited Vienna many times before since I am originally from Bratislava Slovakia. Presently we live in Washington DC. When she was younger and there were no limitations on luggage, we would always bring one small carry on suitcase filled with our favorite Mozart kugeln chocolates. In the Washington DC area where we live around the Christmas time, some international stores carry the German variety of Mozart's Kugeln where Mozart face is turned to the left side of the box. However, there is a huge difference in taste. These last couple of years we have been purchasing these chocolates in the duty free shop as we were leaving Vienna so it would not add weight to our luggage. Our friends are used to us bringing back these chocolates as gifts so obviously there is never enough! The delicious combination of chocolate and almond paste is incomparable to anything that you can experience. Thanks to the new technology of internet and being able to google anything, we were able to stumble upon this website where you can purchase your favorite Austrian goodies. I plan to order not only chocolates but other tasty delights from this company as soon as our first chocolate shipment arrives!

The first time I had these famous Mozart chocolates was in 1984. I was living in Brussels, Belgium, and a friend of my father, gave us a giant box of these as a Christmas gift. At first, I did not know what to think, as I was accustomed to eating Belgian chocolates. However, once I tried them I was so imprsssed by their delicious taste and high quality ingredients. In the United States it is pretty much impossible to find these specific chocolates in any store. I wasked my wife if she had ever tried them and she responded that she had no idea what I was talking about. So, I decided to attempt to find them oin the Internet. I found your store through Google and I am looking forward to ordering from you. I hope that you will ship to the United States. To me, these delicious chocolates are the perfect representation of Austria. You should be very proud that your country produces such excellent chocolates. I would like to learn more of the history of this famous Mozart chocolate and I am looking forward to tasting them again after so many years. Thank you so much!

While in Vienna for work I came across a confectionery store which was selling these chocolates. The presentation of the chocolates was very attractive and are a perfect Austrian sweet. I bought a ridiculous number of chocolate boxes as gifts for family and friends. I also bought quite for myself. The chocolates were very popular (and not just with me). Since that visit to Vienna, I have consumed quite a lot more of Mozart chocolates and they are now my favorite!! I have tried other brands of marzipan chocolate but they do not have the same taste. Mozart chocolates can be bought in the UK they are not widely available and therefore I tend to buy them on the internet. I was looking to buy some Mozart chocolates online for my mother in law (also a big fan of marzipan chocolate) when I found the www.austrianshop.com website (google search engine returned it). It appears a good selection of Mozart chocolates. I have bought a box or two for my mother in law and one for myself! I have added a bookmark to this website on my browser as I will be visiting this website regularly in the future!

While I was living overseas in Asia a few years ago, I met a lovely Austrian woman. She introduced me to Austria Mozartkugeln from Victor Schmidt. She presented it to me as a gift, and my palate has never been the same. It is rich and delicate and a perfect blend of chocolate and marzipan. I have beeen searching for chocolate that is comparable ever since. My search has been to no avail. Chocolate in the United Sates is not even close in quality. I was in Frankfurt, Germany last week for a layover, and I was hoping to find and purchase the exact Viennese Mozart chocolates in the duty free shop. Unfortunately, my time was too short to take a look. I have been looking for a way to purchase these Mozart chocolates for some time and finally decided to Google them. I have now found my way to Austrianshop.com, and I am excitedly looking forward to placing an order and receiving this delectable sweet treat. I am a self-confessed chocoholic along with my mother and my two young daughters. We are all hoping to become regular customers!

I am purchasing these for a bridal shower. My friend lived in Austria during college and I remember how much she would talk about this candy! I am excited to use them as a party favor for her party and look forward to seeing her reaction. In the United States it is pretty much impossible to find these specific chocolates in any store. I asked my friend if she had ever tried them and she responded that she had no idea what I was talking about. So, I decided to attempt to find them on the Internet. I found your store through Google and I am looking forward to ordering from you. My friend will be so surprised! I hear the delicious combination of chocolate and almond paste is incomparable to anything that you can experience. Thanks to the new technology of internet and being able to google anything, I was able to stumble upon this website where you can purchase your favorite Austrian goodies. I plan to order not only chocolates but other treats from this company as soon as our first chocolate shipment arrives! Thank you for providing this service and I look forward to gaining a few friends and pounds from this purchase!

Five years ago, my wife and her mother took a holiday to Europe. In their tour of Great Britain and the mainland European countries, Austria became their main place of memory due to one primary reason. Mozartkugeln. They had had American chocolate, European, chocolate, but this was the cream-of-the-crop for their taste pallettes. After taking many photos of Salzburg, they returned and found the primary token of their trip was the Mozartkugeln. Over and over, they kept describing how they were the best chocolates on the planet, due to the combination of the marzipan, the centers, and the overall taste combination they were able to experience when they bought a 50 pc. set. I was dumbfounded and rather curious when they kept on, so I am out to venture and gain the same witness. I hope to give these to my wife as an anniversary gift and keep coming back for more. Thanks to the internet and the online international marketplace, I will be able to help her relive the nostalgia of her european experience and ultimately share the happiness she felt. I highly recommend these to anyone, even if I have not tasted one, but once I do, I will be adamant about my advertisements, just as my wife continues to be.

After many years in the U.S. studying the music and lives of Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Bach, and all the other European composers, my wife and I were able to enjoy a visit to Vienna and Salzburg, the capitol city of classical music, and its summer festival companion. Rather than trying to stuff our suitcases with the irresistable Mozart chocolates, I'm hoping to find these online (especially the marzipan version) to share with my piano students, friends, and family. What better souvenir? We found it amusing to find that Herr Mozart has found a new calling in today's world. He is more than making up for his tragically short number of years, by working double shifts now as famous composer, but also as the sales representative for these wonderful chocolates. Mozart's picture is almost everywhere in Vienna and Salzburg, reminding tourists to take advantage of this delicious souvenir. One of my most awesome piano students/families gave me a collection of these chocolates last Christmas, and another family has brought me back the Violin shaped container from their travels to Germany. I am hoping now that we are back in the U.S. that this will be the perfect way to secure these delicacies in enough quantity/value to share with so many of our friends, family, and students!

I once read that the reason only one variety of a famous condiment existed was that it was sated with a perfect amount of each taste experience possible - sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami (deliciousness, long-lasting flavour). For me, this is similar to the experience of eating Mozartkuglen. I have travelled to many countries around the world and have yet to find a taste that so quickly recalls a place as the Mozartkuglen. Just unwrapping a chocolate reminds me immediately of a world: the beauty of Salzburg, the mountains, the cyan skies and the bracing air. I have lived in over 12 countries and still have not found a flavour that so encapsulates the spirit of a place as the precious universe of taste, wrapped in precious gold, from Austria!

We recently went on vacation to Europe, and stopped by Vienna. What a magical place, it was just amazing and we while we liked Prague & Bratislava a lot, Vienna just stole our hearts. The entire city is so imperial and grand, with history going back to the Romans easily viewable. One of our favorite places was Schonbrunn Palace where we picked up some of these to have as small gifts for folks back home. The house was amazing, as were the gardens and Glorietta. Just a magical environment all together. We later had dinner near Stephenplatz,(the cathedral there is incredible as well) and there is a shop with better prices and we picked up a couple more packages. Unfortunately for us, I didn't actually TRY one before we left, as if we had I would have dedicated an entire suitcase to bringing these treats back with us. They are AMAZINGLY delicious, and you can't find them anywhere else. Believe me, we have been looking and with Christmas coming up, I plan on having a number of these treats around as well. Now that we have found an online supplier, I expect we will be ordering replacements frequently to keep friends and family rolling in Kugeln.

My friends and I visited Vienna since we are all music students and love classical music. Presently we live in Canada. I love marzipan and couldnot believe these beautiful looking chocolate contain my favourite ingredients. I would bring one small carry on suitcase filled with my favorite Mozart kugeln chocolates back to give to friends, especially those who love music and Mozart. In Canada I have never seen any store carry the German variety of Mozart's Kugeln where Mozart face is turned to the left side of the box. I visited Vienna 25 years ago. We were four college students backpacking that summer. In Vienna we met a young man named Andrea who wanted to practice his english and so he was our wonderful tour guide. When we were leaving he disappeared before saying good-bye and we were saddened. But as our train was pulling away he came running on to the platform to give us each a bag of these chocolates so that we could remember him and Vienna.... Every time I see Mozart Balls I do remember him and Vienna. And now, our opera guild (for the Santa Fe Opera) is having an educational event next month. We'll feature a guest lecturer on the famed castrati. In order to make it fun and keep with the theme, we are making it a Spaghetti and No Balls dinner. As hostess, I thought that having two Mozart Balls as a party favor would be the icing on the cake of a fun evening. Not only are they totally scrumptious, but even the most novice of opera fans can hum a few Mozart arias! We're looking forward to a fun evening and some great food.

I love these chocolates! First brought them on a school trip to Salzburg and they were really nice. It was during a language exchange when I was 15. It was the first time I had visited Austria and I stayed with a girl my own age so it was a great way to experience a different culture and life in Austria. I had a really good time. On one of the days we went on a trip to Salzburg. We visited the Mozart museum and afterwards went to the museum gift shop where they had the Mozartkugeln chocolates for sale. A lot of people were buying them and the chocolates looked very nice in the box and wrapping so I decided to get some. I got a few boxes to give to friends and family back home and as a souvenir of my trip to Austria. They were probably the best chocolates I ever tasted, so I was glad I bought the Victor Schidmt 50 pcs. I really like marzipan and chocolate so its a great combination to have both in the Mozartkugeln chocolates. Recently, whilst having lunch with friends, I was offered the Mozartkugeln after the end of the meal and it reminded me how delicious they taste. Pleased to find them on Austrianshop.com!

the first time I ate this faboulous kind of chocolates was some years ago, because a colleague from work, who is from Austria, gave me a two Victor Schmidt Mozart Kugeln, and I just fell in love with them. the combination between marzipan and chocolate is amazing. Now everytime a relative or a friend is going to Wien or anywhere in Austria I ask them to buy me this marevellous bonbons, because where I live in Spain there are no shops which sell Mozart Kugeln, I have tried in many shoing malls as well as in gourmet shos, but I have not been lucky, I hoe in the next future to go and visit this beautifl country and of course eat and buy lots of Mozart Kugeln Victor Schmidt variety. the last time I had these chocolates was some months ago, but now I have not got anymore, so I must buy them from this fabolous site which allows us to enjoy the taste of Victor Schmidt Mozart Kugeln. I am so glad, and hoPe to have my chocolates really soon at my home so as soon as Possible I will be eating them. Congratulations to Austrianshop.com. Kind regards. You are doing a great job

O.M.G. Really Mozart chocolate at this very very good price I am now well happy. My brother many years ago went to Austria were he loved the culture and the girls.but I was introduced to this amazing chocolate...I have never tasted anything that matches up to this over the last...ten maybe even fifteen years....I know it sounds insane but this truly is the best chocolate taste sensation I have ever tried and that really is the reality nothing comes close nothing compares.llalll icon say in defence is if you do not try this most wonderfully sweet then maybe you haven't lived...I know this is only my opinion but hey give it a go and I know you will feel the same..its almost like going back in time to another year where produce was more innocent and people enjoyed othe regions of food and culture..to in fact bring this taste back to the future to make an amazing 21st century taste for all ages and creed to enjoy together as one...soon we all can be connected together for the first time though the taste of food,,,,,

When i was a little girl my mother used to bring these home from the place she studdied and i remember i appriciated it soo much. We both have this as our favourite chockolate, and every christmas for the last 5 years i buy her a big box of these so she can enjoy it all year around. I only found them at a really expensive kiosk not far from where i live. to buy those there cost way too much, but what dont we do for our beloved parents? i was so happy when i then came across this website with good prices and alot to choose from. Its spread in the family like a fire on a hot summer day- to be buying these to our mothers on special occasions. i still havent met a soul who say they dont want to taste, or that they does not like them. its a big homerun as a gift or just something special - to almost everyone:) as a chockolate lover i cant say i have found any chockolate who tastes as perfect as this and i hope that more people discover them so they are to be sold in many more stores where i live.

My mother was born in Vienna but moved to London during the war when she was only 13 so her family could escape persecution. She told me about the Mozart chocolates, but I had never tried them until I visited Vienna a few years ago to try to find out a bit about my families history. My wife and I had a fabulous time in Vienna and went home a few kilos heavier after trying the famous Sacha Torte and of course the Mozartkegeln. They are quite unlike any other chocolate I have ever tried and since them I have been trrying to find somewhere in this country (UK) where I could get them on a regular basis. Occasionally, I have found them but not often. I urge anybody who can find them to try them and maybe start asking a few shops in the UK to stock them. I am sure they will sell as well in this country as any where else after all we do eat a huge amount of chocolate here. Shortly, I will be going back to Vienna and will stock up on them again and also bring back some for friends and family who have also fallen in love with thehm

the first time I had eaten this chocolate was on vacation in center parks. we were there for the 25th time and we got an anniversary package with all this good stuff and 2 glasses with mozart chocolate. We were there also because it was my birthday, years ago my mother told me that she eat this cholate when she was young. She loved it. She told me that i could have that cholate out of the anniversary package. So i did and when i tasted it i got a smile on my face this was the best chocolate I have ever eaten. Unfortunately we have never been able to find this in a store. I looked everywhere. 2 years later i discovered a store in berlin. They had this chocolate and i bought 3 boxes. But that was the last time i went to berlin so i never eaten it anymore. Now i have found this site online and i gotta buy it immediately. This chocolate is made in 1890. I know it because my grandmother her mother bought it always for her and my grandmother bought it always for us when i was young because i liked it so much

I first tried these when my grandmother came to see us and had a box of them. They were so beautiful that at first I did not eat it because the wrapping was so pretty, but then when nana said to take a bite, I was hooked! These are divine. Nana is no longer on this earth and these little pieces of heaven remind me of where she is now! Thank you!

I buy these for my husband every Christmas and he absolutely loves them - he's not a big chocolate fan but these are one of the few chocolates he really enjoys. It wouldn't be Christmas without Mozartkugeln. My youngest daughter (9) is rather partial to them too, and she loves the wrapping. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of marzipan but I always use the chocolates as an opportunity to introduce my children to the man and his music (my passion) so I always put on a CD of a Mozart concerto on Christmas morning. It always creates a civilized mood when we're opening our presents, drinking our champagne and eating our smoked salmon. Followed, of course, by some Mozartkulgen. I usually go get a number 94 bus into the centre of London, to Selfridges department store in Oxford Street, to buy the chocolates but I don't think I have enough time this year so I'm going to try and order them online instead. My husband won't know and I'm sure they'll taste just as delicious. Also, I think he's going to do better this year as there's more choice on the website so I can order a larger box!

I first tried this chocolate on a school vacation to Austria. My mother asked me to bring her a box, since she missed this type of chocolate. She used to have it during a period she lived close to Austria. I bought her a box, but also tried some for myself, and got hooked fast. Sadly, this chocolate is not for sale in Holland. I tried all kinds of different types, but never quite the same. I have not visited Austria since, so did not have the opportunity to buy some more of this delicious chocolate. Recently, I got the idea to check online, and found this website. I'm looking forward to trying mozarts kugeln again after 15 years. Another reason to get them now, is that hopefully the package will arrive in time for Christmas. That way, I could create gift bags for my family containing a few of these chocolates each. This should be a nice surprise for my mother especially, since she asked me to buy her these 15 years ago. A testament to the taste of these chocolates should be the fact that I remember them still after 15 years have passed. I'm sure that the will make a great gift.

My girlfriend and I spent 4 weeks in Europe over Christmas. We bought 1 bag at a supermarket in Austria. We consumed them in a day on our coach tour! Every coach tour stop we bought a bag each...needless to say, we tried to make them last, but just didn't have the will power! They are the best chocolates I have ever had. I truly love the hazlent centre, it is delicious. I rembember scouring the streets of Salzburg to purchase many packets to bring home and share in Australia. My recipients loved them as much as me! I am delighted to have discovered them online!

Oh wonderful at last I have found a source of these wonderful chocolates again! When I was in my twenties, I lived in Germany and I first discovered Mozart chocolates in the shops in the airports. I loved them and used to buy them as an occasional treat fo rmyself or for friends and family as gifts - they made me very popular. I have not seen Mozart chocolates for about 20 years, but I recently came across this website and was absolutely thrilled to be able to buy them again. Interestingly, I have been on a diet since the start of January, and have been succeeding and hittiing my weight loss targets and I believe that part of my success is due to these chocolates - it is the thought of my one Mozart a day that keeps me going! I have forsaken quantities of ordinary chocolate and treats for one marvellous Mozart each day and it has helped me and led to my success to date. Well done Mozart! I am about to order my second batch and I will continue with just one a day, I am afraid they are not for sharing, they are my secret vice.

This chocolate is the best chocolate I've ever eaten. My family and I went to Disney and we typically love to explore the stores and see what kind of different foods/candy we find. The first time I found this chocolate was in Orlando in Epcot Center. I bought some but did not really know what I was going to get. One bite and I was absolutely convinced that it's the best candy I've ever tried. It was soft, sweet, but not too sweet. Unfortunately I only bought a few of the candy and wished that I have a lot more. Ive been trying to find the chocolate in other places, but it's not so easy to find.Every time I went to Disney after I had to get some more. My family is addicted to this candy. My kids love it, my husband love, everyone loves it .This chocolate combines 2 of my favorites things. Marzipan and Chocolate. I've found the chocolate in a store where I live now, but I don't always buy it because it has too many calories to eat all the time. I wish the company would make other kinds of candy with marzipan. Now that have found this website I will buy the candy more.

I love this taste of chocolate.I have to do an exercice fot French and we have to tell the class something about Mozart. Our tekst is a little bit boring and I wanted to find something very Original about mozart. So I began searching on the web and then I saw this site and the chocolate. My mother says that it is very good chocolate so I bought a bit and it's really a wonderfull taste in my mouth.I am from Belgium and in Belgium the chocolate is not as good as these Mozart Bonbons I think.I want to buy more of the chocolates and I would give it to my whole class so that they can also be surprised of the taste.Normally I don't like much chocolate but this bonbons are very tasty that I will never forget.I will search them when I go in the holidays to 'oostenrij' and will buy them again because they surprised me when I eat and saw them first.I hope that the children of my class love them also and my teacher also and maybe we can get more points than the other f my class just of the bonbons! Thanks!

After many years in Belgium studying the music and lives of Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Bach, and all the other European composers, my wife and I were able to enjoy a visit to Vienna and Salzburg, the capitol city of classical music, and its summer festival companion. I am hoping now that we are back in Belgium that this will be the perfect way to secure these delicacies in enough quantity/value to share with so many of our friends, family, and students!

I have first tried Mozart chocolates in 1997 for Christmas. I found them at the store of one of the Air Force bases in US. I couldn't understand why no regular store around here carry them. They were in a gorgeous red and gold colored box, which I've kept forever, storing some special Christmas cards in it etc. The pieces of chocolates in that box were of different shapes and they have had different fillings, but they were all incredible! Each of them was peaking through that clear plastic window of the box, promising a joy of excitement. I don't know if that box and the whole arrangement purified my taste back to the way it was when I was a child, or the promise of the eyes of someone who knew what excitement was and knew how to deliver it awaken the taste buds I did not know I've had. But I kept going back to that box several times a day even when I knew that I shouldn't have any more for that day. I went back to that store every year, to make sure that no matter what Santa had in mind for me, my Christmas was exciting and very special. Once I was unable to go to that store, I couldn't find my Mozart anywhere else, and it became a distant sweet memory for years. Until I've decided to search for them online. And - here we are! My very special treat is so close to my reach! They are for me, not a gift to anyone. Because I don't trust anyone to appreciate them as fully and thoroughly as I do :)

My family and I lived for some years in Europe and had the opportunity to travel to many beautiful locations, including Austria. My dad has always loved Mozartkugeln and on special occasions we always make it a point to get him some..and of course he shares with us! These chocolates, like Austria, will always have a special place in my heart.

I am originally from Ukraine but have been living in USA, San Francisco and explore many wonderful candies like Godiva , Sees candy, girardelly chocolate . I have tried a lots Swiss and Belgium chocolate as well. When we visited Austria as a family trip I saw Mozart chocolate sold almost everywhere. I even have picture of me and two huge Mozart balls, taken in Vienna. I am always curious about local products when I visit other places and countries so of course I could not resist to try Mozart kugelns . Since that time , I can't resist the toast of this greatly collectively amazing taste and complexity of the chocolate product. It is combination of marzipan, almond, chocolate , structure, the glaze , which does not melt in your hands. It gives you so much strength , energy , pleasure and satisfaction at the same time . Last time we visited Europe , we had stop over in Munich airport . I was so released to see these candies on sale in duty free shop . I have bought five cans , could buy more if it would not custom regulations . They all gone by now and I am so glad there is opprtunitynto by them online . Can wait then my shipment will arrive ...

11-5-2013 I recently visited Vienna for the first time and loved the city! Someone who had lived in Vienna had asked me to bring back Mozart's Sweets - which at the time I had no idea what they were. Of course, upon arriving in the city I saw them everywhere and bought quite a few packages to give out to friends. My best friend was so in love with them that I ended up giving her the package I had saved for my candy dish in the living room - her desire was greater!! Pat

I tried these candies when I was in Austria over Christmas and fell in love with them. I am back home now and only have one candy left and am saving to eat it on my birthday. I'm glad they sell these online so I can eat them whenever I want.
