I spent several months in Vienna way back, when I was in college, and I ate it almost every day, I just could not resist is. They are tasting great, especially if you like marzipan like I do. If you ever in your life visit Vienna, Mozartkugel are definitely must! Mozartkugel are truffles with a pistachio marzipan layer, a hazelnut marzipan layer, almond nougat, and two chocolate shells. The truffles are fairly substantial in size with a crunchy outer layer and a very grainy, gummy inside. They also taste incredibly boozy. The flavor is predominantly pistachio and amaretto with a lingering smokiness from the chocolate, and they're not very sweet at all. The center is quite moist and chewy and one truffle makes for a filling snack. Mozartkugel are part of Austrian tradition and you are more than welcome to join millions who already tasted this delicious peace of heaven in a such a small chocolate ball. You simply cannot leave Austria without buying those! They are Austrian most famous edible souvenir: in different packaging and all shapes and sizes. It is a good gift for friends and family back home! Just tell them to be very careful: it's easy to overeat since they're too delicious!

My father was working on the movie The Lady Vanishes and brought home some of the Mozartkugeln as a gift for me, I was about 12 years old. I had never tasted a sweet like it and our family nickname was Mozart Eyeballs! I always try and get a box for Christmas but it is very difficult to find them in the UK, as they do stir memories of childhood. I saught them out when I was lucky enough to visit Vienna many years later.

I discovered Mozart Kugeln in college, and sense then I've tried to get my hands on some every year. Truly some of the best candy I've had, and Mozart on the front is the icing on the cake

I am from DK. last year I went to a congress in Vienna, and I bought a few boxes of the mozartkugln for my collegues at the office, since they have been very helpful during my work. Ever since when I ask for a favour of them they tell me it cost, and that it minimum cost mozar tkugeln. As I wrote I live in DK, and I have been searching everywhere for the mozart kugeln but have not been able to find them. Not even an internet shop, so I was very happy to see that I can order them from Austria. Then i am also sure it is the right original mozart kugeln. I am travelling a lot and I am always looking for the mozart kugeln in the different airports. But I have meet similar chocolade, but not the orginal ones with truffles, pistachio marzipan layer, haxelnut marxipan layer, almond nougat, they are all so very nice. Now that I finally found a place where I can order the mozart kugeln I will order serveral boxes, but for my collegues so I can ask for favours in the future, but also for my family. They will be so nice to enjoy during christmas

I tried MozartKugeln many years ago when I was a young boy in India. My relatives from the United Kingdom and Austria would bring these back for us every Christmas and needless to say, that was one of the things worth looking forward to every year. Imagine my surprise, when as a boy of 10, I went to the airport with my parents to pick up my relatives and they rewarded me with these delicious marzipan filled delicacies - I had never tasted anything as fulfilling up until that point in my life - and from then on, it was a must have for me every Christmas/New Year season. I currently live in the greater Washington, DC region and have not had the opportunity to obtain these locally.

my mum has always loved these but they are rather hard to find in the uk so they're a rare and infrequent treat. one box can be made to last a long time! i keep my eyes open for them and am always pleased when somewhere does have them, although it's rather sparodic. wish i lived in london where i know there are a few shops stocking german and austrian food items. i always bring some mozart kugeln, along with a few other austrian food bits, back with me when i go on holiday to austria, but unfortunately that is not very often anymore. so i am hoping this website might make getting these lovely chocolates a little easier now! austria is rather far to go for chocolate!! i am ordering them today for my mum for mothers' day and am pleased to find they are on offer too, which is certainly welcome. i am sure she will be pleased with them, it's been a while since she had any, in fact i had completely forgotten about them so hopefully they will be a nice surprise! she loves anything with marzipan but there is something special about mozart kugeln, especially the ones from mirabella. dark chocolate and marzipan, what not to like?

I first tasted Mozart chocolate when a piece was left on the pillow in my Salzburg hotel. It was heavenly! On the way to the train station, I bought a box of those same chocolates. Unfortunately, I fell in the Munich train station and dropped my delicious chocolates on the train tracks, before I could eat even one piece. So I have to buy more.

I visited Austria this summer during a rather hot spell. I was hesitant to buy these sweets, fearing they would melt before I could get them to friends and family state-side. So, I picked up a small assortment at the airport on the way out, didn't try them until I got home. Being a fan of praline, I especially love the praline paste and now want to buy more of these to share with co-workers as well as family and friends. Of course, I'd like a few for me, too!

I love the mozart chocolate when I first ate it in Dubai. One of my project manager was from Austria and he brought this amazing chocolate from Austria. I again got a chance to eat the same and this time he brought in large quantity as there were many fans. I wanted to know whether it is available in Singapore. I hope to eat all the flavors. I today ate the Mozarttaler (circle chocolate) and liked it though it is not that great as the krugel one. I like it as I like another favorite of mine which is, Lindt though each one is great in its own class. Mozart is great and I love it. The center portion is quite tasty and truffle is even tastier. Hope I will get the delivery in Singapore as I am going to order it online. I will write another review once I will receive my parcel in Singapore and then I will share my comments on my overall experience.. . . . . In case anyone else faced any problem in ordering online to Singapore please let me know. I am going to close this now and really excited to get my first parcel of mozart chocolate.

My husband first ate these on a childhood trip to Austria when he was ten years old. After many years of regaling me with stories about how good and delicious they are I had my opportunity to try them during our honeymoon in Vienna. He was right: yummy! We must have eaten five boxes during our two-week stay in Austria. We had to keep going back to the choclatier for more and more. My husband has longed for these chocolates ever since and has searched for a place to buy them fresh here in the United States of America. I can't wait to surprise him with these on Christmas morning and reminisce about our wonderful trip together. His parents have occasionally given him some of these Mozartkugeln over the years but he says that the ones we can get here in the United States are dried out from having sat in the warehouse for too long, so I am hopeful that ordering them straight from Austria will give him the real deal and make him feel like he is back in Vienna again! Someday we will go back to Austria but these will tide us over until then!
